About the Artist
COWBOY is an experimental performance duo comprised of local freaks Islay McKechnie and Ciarán Volke. The pair met in an improv class and quickly bonded over their shared love of musical comedy and a desire to make their own work. Ciarán and Islay have been collaborating together for two years and have performed as COWBOY in collaboration with companies such as Paper Street Theatre, Impulse Theatre, Downstage Theatre, and the Saskatoon Fringe Festival. COWBOY makes theatre that is both strange and affecting.
