Nothing Crazy's Gonna Happen
Nothing Crazy’s Gonna Happen is an experimental live improv-based house party performance pursuit of what happens when an audience enters an intimate setting with performers, and are actively asked to live through the events with them and influence the story’s outcome. The plot explores collective responsibility, and the nuances in how ones actions, or lack thereof, can result in unanticipated consequences. The implication of the audience in the story allows them to explore the concept and solve hypothetical situations in an environment where the stakes are ultimately none, but the feeling presents real. With optional levels of participation reflected by coloured bracelets, audiences are encouraged to ‘come to the party and have fun!’ With an open mind and a willingness to come along for the wild ride that is exploratory, interactive, audience-guided theatre.
