Combining humour, storytelling, and with the help of his puppet friends, Dave will share the secrets of this unique art form, from the difficult task of pronouncing each letter of the alphabet without the slightest lip movement to creating lovable characters, and mastering the illusion of bringing a puppet to life!

About the Artist

Dave Dixon is a self-taught ventriloquist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a police officer, Dave found a creative outlet in ventriloquism to balance the demands of his job. After countless hours practicing in front of a mirror and years of perfecting his craft, Dave performs at fairs, festivals, and corporate events.

With a deep passion for the art of ventriloquism, Dave finds joy in the creative challenge of giving voice and personality to his puppets. His latest production, The Magical World of Ventriloquism - One Man’s Journey, is a heartfelt celebration of his lifelong adventure in bringing characters to life.
