About the Artist

My name is Amit Solanki, originally from India, Canada (I live in Victoria) is now home. I started my standup comedy in Montreal and have performed in all the major cities in Canada. I was featured on the CBC’s North by Northwest by Sheryl McKay, for my one man yoga comedy show “Spiritualarious “ produced at Edmonton Fringe Festival 2024, Victoria Fringe Festival in 2017, 2022, 2024. Also, at Nanaimo Fringe Festival in August 2023. I like to find the funny in silly and compare it with events of my life from different cultures.
