The Pansy Cabaret

One hundred years ago in The Big Apple, gender was fluid and Pansy Bars were the hottest ticket in town. Drag queens, Queer comedians and composers became some of the highest-paid entertainers in America, creating art and comedy that boldly dared to imagine a queer-positive world. You can experience those outrageous and courageous songs and routines today at The Pansy Cabaret!

In a Sterling Award-winning performance, Zachary Parsons-Lozinski as Lilith Fair will guide you through some of the melody and mirth of these courageous Queers, accompanied by Daniel Belland on piano.

Created and directed by award-winning playwright and Queer historian Darrin Hagen, The Pansy Cabaret unearths art from our past that speaks eloquently to the moment we are in today, and reveals our own origins of Pride by unveiling the little-known history of the rise and fall of Queer and Drag culture in Prohibition New York.

Enjoy this Queer offering from Guys In Disguise!
