Sheila! The Musical
SHEILA! THE MUSICAL is a darkly comic musical satire following Sheila V Toff, a bearded housewife in 1950s suburbia, performing the rituals of domestic life for her neighbours, her husband, and a watchful baby.
Recently nominated for Most Outstanding English Production at the Montreal Fringe, the show has established itself as a standout on the festival circuit, touring Fringe festivals across Canada since 2024, and now entering its first Fringe run on Vancouver Island, home of the creators.
Sheila spends her days selling domesticity to herself — chores, cocktails, and a smile that's a little too rehearsed. The show blends original music, choreography, and drag performance with dark comedy — and the longer Sheila keeps performing "perfect," the more the seams start to show.

"Have It Off Productions brings bold, original drag shows to the far corners of BC, featuring some of the province's biggest drag performers. The company runs regular shows in the Cowichan Valley, hosted by Sheila.
Jay Hill is the creator and performer behind Sheila V Toff — self-described as ""Van Isle's belting, bearded bombshell,"" known for Sheila's impeccable live vocals, glamour camp drag style, and big personality. Inspired by their own grandmother, Jay created Sheila! The Musical as a deeper exploration of their drag persona at its core."
