Lip Service

Lip Service, Pulsive Party

Lip Service follows two larger than life vulva characters through hilarious scenes and songs as they navigate their relationship to service, self-acceptance, and empowerment. Through absurdist humour, Lip Service celebrates the strength and spirit of vulva bodies while tackling the complexities and contradictions of empowerment in today’s society. Negotiating a world of misinformation and increasingly demanding tasks, this dynamic duo transform on a dime to tackle each new challenge and excel at every role. They perform a series of songs, dance routines, and health advice - each increasing in complexity and difficulty. As the obstacle course of endurance begins to take its toll, our vulva characters start to question their unwavering commitment to the cause, while animating how modern day patriarchy continues to pit us against ourselves, and one another.

“No matter what sex organ you have… Lip Service teaches a bold lesson on honouring what you've got." - CBC Manitoba
