SHIFT

“Who am I, and what do I want?” Riley, Charlie, Alex, and Aaron have 7 days before they graduate college and begin the next stage of their lives. Extended Space Theatre presents SHIFT, a queer coming of age story celebrating moving, friendship, and sexuality. An intimate, strange, and heartfelt patchwork of moments that compel us to examine the joy and fear of the unknown. extendedspacetheatre.com

About the artist/company
Extended Space Theatre is a queer collective created by four friends (Emily Duke, Sammy Forest, Danica Charlie, & Ella Daly) who graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts in 2021. We never felt represented by the stories, or characters that we were asked to portray, so we decided to create work that reflects who we are. Currently we emphasize specific and purposeful work that is queer focused, celebrating and normalizing the queer existence. Extended Space Theatre has created two original works, GRASP and BIAS, that were presented at SKAMpede in 2021 and 2022.
